Le Label a pour vocation de témoigner de l’émergence de jeunes cinéastes talentueux dont l’approche filmique s’oriente autour de l’argentique et de la performance ; de sensibiliser un nouveau public à ces oeuvres par leur diffusion et par le biais de créations pédagogiques ; de produire, éditer et distribuer des films expérimentaux contemporains, qui s’accompagnent d’oeuvres sonores, de photographies et
d’essais, afin d’en assurer la protection et la pérennité.

The Label is intented first all to testify of young and talented cinematographers’ outcoming, of their filmic approach focused on light and its reaction on the film material, prefering therefore live per formances. Label Ombres also seeks to increase a new public awareness of these works of art, either by their distribution and diffusion, either by the creation of workshops. The Label’s main purpose is to produce, edit and distribute contemporary experimental films which comes along with original soundtracks, photography and essays, in order to ensure of their protection and everlastingness.
